  Celeste was frozen with fear and terror. A man was in the doorway, raking his eyes over her. Another stood behind him. Both had hungry eyes. She could barely make out his words, but "Undress her and get her out there," were loud and clear.

  Celeste was grabbed by his rough hands. Yet another man came and stripped her bare. She was scared. "See how high of 'n price you can get for 'er." The first one spoke again. Celeste didn't want to be moved, to be taken by anyone. Her eyes locked on the second, the one who was staring at her.

  Celeste closed her eyes as her hands were bound behind her back. She was pushed out of the room and down the hall, towards the stage. Her blonde hair was swept out of her face as the man who took her tried to make her look presentable.
  The first man looked to the one behind him, the one who was looking at Celeste. He noticed the longing. Quickly, he asked, "Boy, would ya like to buy the slave I just sent out? Better hurry if ya do!" He ended with a grunt.
