He fell off the couch and onto the floor, waking up.

"Yea, I'm fine." he mumbled, sitting up.

"Yea, I'm sure." He said, turning to her. "What about you?"

"Are you sure about that?" he asked, sitting next to her.

"Thinking about what?"

"Maybe. But you hate that place, right?"

"Well, you can't go back until I know my dad gave up on trying to kill you." He said with a sigh.

"I'm sorry. Really. This is all my fault." he said, running his fingers through her hair.

"No, I'm sorry for dragging you places, away from your family and s---. Making you stay with me for god knows how long."

"You do?"

"Why?" he asked with a small smirk.

"How so?"
