"Actually, some wolves have died just looking for this burdock root, you know. It's very rare here in the north," she snapped. "And there is also one more herb that is even more valuable... "
Icedrop growled back, "You better be. I don't like the fighting, but these are the rules of the pack. "THERE IS GOING TO BE A FIGHT. WILL ACE OR DARK WIN THE PLACE OF ALPHA MALE?" She boomed. -
"What's that?" Cinder asked.

Ace stared at Icedrop. Was he willing to risk his life for her? He had assumed it was just basic attraction, but she had already called the fight. He sighed in annoyance and stood up.

Astro, Ruby, and Stardust looked between Ace and Dark. -

Icedrop sighed sadly. She wished she didn't have to do this, but still, the Wolf Code had to make them fight, or SkyPack would send a sign to her telling they had to.
Moss shook her head, muttering. "I guess I can tell you. It's...um...Fruit. Its juice helps herbs stay fresher longer, and the Winter would make them dry out faster." -
"Okay. But it's not that i don't acknowledge the danger, i just don't want you to think i'm helpless, like all the other wolves." Cinder barked.

"You're not helpless. I am! If anything attacks, I'm dead!" She glanced uneasily at her belly. "Anyways, c'mon, we need to go get some prey." She found a small deer, then killed it. "Come and eat before it gets dark. We have to bury it so no other animal can find our scent on it and track us."

Cinder buried her muzzle in the food. "I'm still here to protect you." Cinder barked through it.
