"I was just using her the whole time." He explained. "She's nothing but a weak little gullible girl. I was gonna use her as an ally until the end. Then I would kill her. She's pretty convinced." He said as the walked close enough to the cave so that Evan would hear. "So you don't like her? Everything was a lie?" He asked. Daniel nodded. "I don't like her. And yea, it was. She just can't find out." He said, regretting the lies that just came out of his mouth.

Evan blinked and tears built up in her eyes. he was using her...all this time it was a lie...

"You're a smart guy, Daniel." He said, patting him on the back. "I guess I am...." He said, looking back at the cave, It would be too late to fix anything now. But it didn't really matter, She would die in the games, anyways.

Evan cried and felt something snap inside her. She stood up and picked up he sword. She snuck out of the cave, not being seen. the group was ahead of her with daniel. she growled like a wild animal.

He held an arrow up as he heard footsteps behind him.

She hid quickly nd found a knife in her bag. she aimed at one of the other three and hit hi straight in the jugular. -

One of the members fell to the floor. Everyone turned to look at Evan as they pointed their knives. "Well well.....the redhead with an 8." The leader said. Daniel had to think of something, and quick. He stabbed the other 2 members with his arrows. "Evan, they'll kill you! Run!" He yelled as the 2 drew their arrows, ignoring the spears in their stomachs. -

She growled again and lifte up her sword. "You lying ass b------!"She ran at him and brought down her sword. -
"Evan, let me explain!" He yelled, stabbing the other 2 again and blocking her sword with an arrow. "I had to lie, they were gonna kill me AND you if I didn't!"

"Im not going to listen to your lies anymo..." She felt something slice at her back and hit directly. She screamed and fell to the ground barely breathing.

He gasped and looked up to see they guy from district 7, about to stab him. "You idiot!" Daniel yelled, tackling him and knocking the knife out of his hands. He stabbed him in the heart with the arrow and turned back to Evan.

She was breathing heavily and the wound on her back was bleeding badly. It was a long gash.

He carefully picked her up and ran back to the cave, laying her down gently onto the ground.

She hissed in pain. "Why the hell are you still helping me. first you say you like me then you lie to me." she glared at him.

"Hush and let me help you." he said as he lifted her shirt to look at the gash on her back. He took his jacket off and poured water on it, wiping away the blood.
