She sighed and felt her eyes get heavy. It somehow was turning night in the arena.

He peeked his head out of the tree and looked up at the sky. It would show the dead people soon. He hadn't exactly counted the bombs in the air, so he didn't know how many people were dead. 6 people died at the cornicopia. He killed another 6, and 2 more were dead. There were only 9 other people left. 1 guy from district 1, a girl from district 3, 2 people from district 2, a girl from district 9, a guy from district 6, 2 people from district 8, and 1 person from district 11.

She leaned against his shoulder. She flinched as the bombs went off.

"11 left, including us." he said, shivering. The temperature dropped, quickly. He took the space blanket out and put it over them.

She sighed. "Yeah..." Evan started to fall asleep.

He looked at her and moved some hair away from her face before he closed his eyes.

Evan smiled and feel asleep quickly.

It took a few hours for him to fall asleep.

Evan had no nightmares or dreams. Memories of the day filled her head.

He wrapped his arms around her in his sleep.

She buried her face into his chest and sighed in her sleep.

He woke up to the smell of a fire nearby.

Evan woke up and blinked. "Daniel..?" She looked around and coughed.

"Dammit." he muttered. "Stay here." He said as he grabbed a spear. He peaked out of his tent and saw a girl making a fire. "Not smart, hon." He said, throwing the spear at her chest. It hit er and she fell back. "Evan, we gotta go." He said.

She nodded and got up slowly. he legs felt weak and she coughed again.
