He dressed in a black v-neck teeshirt and jeans as he headed out the door. Melody and will would give them matching outfits.

Evan walked out of her room and saw Daniel. She looked at the ground and started walking. She couldn't look at him.

"Evan." he said calmly.

She walked past him, not wanting to talk.

"Evan, wait. Do you think I'm using you? Just to win?" he asked her.

She stopped and turned around to look at him. Tears already built up behind her eyes. "Asking me to be in an alliance, a bad move on your part..." She turned back around and kept walking.

He facepalm. "I'm not." he said sternly, turning into Will's room.

She didn't hear him and went into Melody's room. Melody smiled at her but got worried. "You alright?" Evan nodded. "Alright kid...well get in your costume!" She was put in her costume for the games.

"How you doing?" Will asked. Daniel sighed and let Will put him into the outfit. It was black nylon, long sleeve pants and a long sleeve shirt, with pockets, and the "District 12" on the right side.

For Evan it was a pair of black pants, a black shirt, and a jacket with district 12 on the right side. Melody smiled and hugged her. "Good Luck, if I could bet I'd bet on you girl." She heard something say ten second and she walked to a clear tube. She waved goodbye to Melody as the floor of the tube rose up.

"Good luck." Will said. Daniel sighed and took a deep breathe. He stepped into the tube, and rose up onto a stand. He saw the other 23, all up on their own pedestals. He moved his gave to the cornicopia, out to the woods, then over at Evan.

Evan didn't look at Daniel, she couldn't. He lied to her and if she ever got a weapon she'd try to kill him. She heard the game people count down.

4....3....2......1! Daniel jumped off his pedestal and ran as quickly as he could towards the woods. He grabbed a black backpack on his way, avoiding anyone that came near him. He entered the woods, and kept running.

Evan saw a bag near her and quickly grabbed it. A knife was hurled at her and se blocked with her bag. She ran quickly hearing screams of people dying.

He kept running until he knew he was safe, and climbed up a tree. He settled on a high limb, and opened his bag as he sat at the base of the tree.
