She sighed trying to get the voices to stop talking in her head.

"Do you um....wanna form an alliance for the games?" he asked her.

She looked at him in surprise. "What?!"

"Geez, I was just asking. If you don't want to, that's fine."

She looked away from him. He'll use me in the game...

She stood up slowly. "We better go see what we got on the test." She walked over to the stairs.

He sighed and nodded. She was obviously avoiding talking about something. He followed her downstairs.

She got to the bottom of the steps and saw Melody plus the others sitting around the screen. Melody smiled and waved her over. "Come over here kid!" She walked over and sat near her.

Will smiled at him and patted the seat next to him. Daniel sat next to him and turned to the screen. They were already showing the other tributes. District 4, the kid with blonde hair. a 10. He would have to look out for him.

Evan watched the screen and waited until her name showed up. She perked up when she heard her name. "District 12, Evan Sterling with a 8." Everyone smiled and cheered for her. Melody patted her back.
