"Well then act your age, and don't ever call me honey. And settle down." She backed away realizing her Alex was gone.

He groaned and passed out.
(time skip)
He woke up in the chair a few hours later and held his head. "I have a killer headache." -
"Well to be honest thats what happens when you steel my wine. I'll get you an ice pack if you want one but you have to pay a small price..." Claire walks over to the freezer.

"Yeah ok. Whats the price?" He watched her and waited impatiently for the icepack.

"A kiss..." She smiled while putting the ice in the bag.

"A kiss? I always assumed you thought of me as a brother?" He looked at her through squinted eyes because of the pain.
(Hence the hesitation earlier) -
She shrugged and handed him the ice pack. "Well ok then." Claire walked up to her room to get dressed.

"No, no wait! Come here!" He put the icepack on and waited for her.

She walked back to him and looked in his eyes. "You assumed..." She brought her lips close to his.

He leaned in and kissed her passionately. "I assumed wrong I guess."

"You did." Claire kissed back forgetting everything that happened this morning.

He got up and pushed her against the wall. "I-I love you, Claire."

She felt him get close to her."I love you too but Alex I need to go on patrol today." -
(XD Yeah. Once something gets his attention, he goes for it. lol)
"The shield is being repaired and most of the city is destroyed. There is no patrol for now."
