Ok how about a post-apocalyptic thing? A race of creatures that lived under the surface of the earth has broken to the surface and has wreaked havoc upon the earth. Humans now live in domes that cover the worlds largest cities. The planet's military forces have joined and attempt to battle the creatures but most battles are lost. The dome we live in covers New York but it has weakend after numerous attacks.
