Fluffykit snuggled closer to her momma. -
Ravenstar raced off to the gathering.

Flamesoul licked her.

Breezestar was sitting up on the Burnt Tree with a light brown tom who had leaf-green eyes. "Hello, Ravenstar." Leafeye meowed in a cold voice.
Fluffykit squeaked, "momma!" -
"Yes?" Flamesoul asked.
Ravenstar bowed his head. -
"I am Leafstar now. It's such a shame that Patchstar died. We found his body near your border. It is such a shame."
Fluffykit didn't respond. -
"We are sorry for your loss, Leafstar." Ravenstar meowed.

Leafstar couldn't believe he didn't get what he was saying. "It was awful. He was all torn up, as if he had been attacked."

"I swear by Starclan we are not responsible."

Leafstar continued as if he had not heard Ravenstar. "He even smelled of Cavernclan. Of one cat in particular, you know. But maybe it was just a coincidence my brother's scent was on Patchstar's body!"

"It must have been a mistake. I am not going to fight during the truce, if that's what you're trying to accomplish."

"Oh, no! I just want you to know, so you could punish him accordingly. One of our warriors actually saw him leaving the territory. I don't even think he was after Patchstar! Patchstar was walking near camp, right by my end of the warriors den!"

"I still don't have proof."

"Oh, really? Heatherpelt, come up here!" The brown she-cat did. "Did you see Oakstripe leaving out territory?" She nodded.

"This discussion is over Leafstar!" Ravenstar hissed.
