Nightwing sat down in the woods. "We're almost there, to the main tunnel." -
Will nodded, looking around. "Do you think they'll accept me?"
"Now, why did you leave camp?" Blizzardstorm asked. Floodkit looked down at his paws. -
Nightwing smiled. "Of course they will," She nuzzled him lightly. "Ivystar's taken in kittypets before, so a stray like you will be welcome."
Skyheart nudged him softly. "It's okay, you can tell us." -
Will gave her a lick on the cheek. "...good." He meowed softly.
Floodkit looked up at his parents, then back down again. "Well... I kinda got... lost..." He started. He intended to tell as much truth as he could without worrying his parents... and getting his apprentice ceremony pushed back. But he had to lie a lot, and this first sentence was one of the lies. -
Nightwing smiled up at him, thinking about how much she loved his ruby eyes.
Skyheart stopped him by holding up a paw. "Floodkit, we know you were with Cloud." -
