(Dang it!)
I stand at the corner of Main and Haper. There he is, 2 blocks down. Kilth, my target. I unsheathe my sword, and head into a nearby alley. I slowly creep closer, as silent as I can. I look out from behind a shop, and see him close by. I walk closer, and quickly hide behind a Trash can. -
(I knew that, I was just thinking!)

I see someone dart behind a trash can. I barely have time to realize it was Natalie. I dart behind a nearby car and pull out my pistol.

Kilth darts behind a car. He knows I'm here, I tell myself. So much for a silent killing. I know how deadly he is with that gun, so I take a bold move. I grab the top off the Trash can and throw it at his gun, hoping it'd knock it out of his hands.

(Im still behind the car)The trashcan hits the car, causing the alarm to go off. I check my pistol and see that I forgot the ammo clip. I curse under my breath and run away from the vehicle.
