He grabbed her shoulder. "You ok?"

"I'm fine..." She smiled at him a bit. She didn't want him to worry.

"No, you're not."

"I'm fine. I swear."

"Nuh uh. Come on, you need rest." he picked her up and carried her up the fire escape.

She blushed a bit." I said I was fine. You need to listen better."

"No, clearly, you're not. Have you been taking meds or something?" he asked, sliding the glass door to his apartment open with 1 hand.

She laughed nervously." No I haven't."

He raised an eyebrow and walked up the stairs to reach his room. "Are you sure about that?"

She rolled her eyes." Yes I'm sure." She looked around."wait...why aren't we going to my apartment?"

"Because." he swung the door to his room open to reveal white walls covered with posters. There was a shelfing system on the wall next to his bed, filled with comics.

"Because why?" She looked around. His room looked....normal.

"Just because." He smiled and set her down on his bed. He sat next to her.

She blushed a bit."That's not really an answer."
