Just then, a half the half drunken Johnny appeared. "Hey, you!", he burped, "You really want to set yourself in hot water, don'cha?"

The vampire dropped her. She was already going through the transformation process now. He turned to face the human Slayer, growling.

"Tch." Johnny shook his head, "Now I'll have to clean that up, too. So, are you gonna keep sounding like a dog looking at a mailman?"

It started creeping toward him, then lunged for his throat.

Johnny moved to the side just in time, then pulled out a stake from his overcoat.

It landed on its feet, glaring up at him.

"Ah, I'm a bit sloppy.", he said and slapped himself then stood ready for the vampire's next attack.

It waited, watching him hungrily. This vampire wasn't like Margret at all. There was obviously some sort of infection.

Johnny looked closer at the vampire's eyes. Wait, am I drunk, or are his eyes purple? Not red?

It took that moment and tackled him to the ground.

He was caught off guard for a moment. "Crap!", he quickly kicked him off and realized his stake was gone. He looked around and saw it was a few feet away, he ran for it, then threw it straight into the vampire.

It screamed, and collapsed, twitching for a minute then laying still.
Behind him, the girl had sat up. Blood was still dripping from her neck. "Don't kill me..." -
He quickly pulled his stake from the now deceased vampire and stood in a ready crouch. "Who are you?", his voice cold.

"Evelyn Selinck. Y-you're not gonna hurt me... Right?" She looked him in the eye. Her eyes were purple, but still had a reddish tint.

Johnny looked at her suspiciously, there was something different about her than the vampire he had just killed. "Hmm. I dunno. You don't seem as rabid. You seem calm for a newbie. Unless...were you already...?", Johnny questioned still in position, not letting his guard down.
