"Have you tried?", he asked, examining her eyes. -
She felt slightly uncomfortable. "Isn't that from drinking animal blood, though? It's isn't a very effective nourishment."

"There's no point in drinking it. The only thing that works really is human blood, or blood tablets."

"And I can't use blood tablets, so I'm what Slayers hate." She sat on her bed. -

He chuckled. "I should probably make that phone call." -

"That'd be nice," she said. -
He took out his cell phone and speed dialed his mom. Burrrr...Burrrr...
Can you be the mom for a short while? -
Yes, dear.
She flopped down, staring at the ceiling.
On the third ring, Mrs. Bibinsky picked up. "Yes?" -
