@Alice I laughed so hard. I was in class...and everyone stared as I tried to muffle my laughter. xD

I think you guys misunderstood what I meant.
I 100% believe in all that stuff. I just want to find out exactly where everything came from. -
we don't know. But unlike religion, we'll admit we don't know.
-
I know that, but everyone was like, "Christians want proof," and I think it came from what I said. I just want to be able to find that out, like discover where everything came from. I'm just curious.
-
The conundrum goes as such:
Religion makes a claim and says that God did it.
Atheists ask for proof.
Religion says that God did it and "Magically" nothing God does can be visibly proven.
-----------------------------------
Atheism makes a claim and PROVES their claim with science.
Religion says that Science is wrong.
Atheism asks for proof and Religion says that since we can't disprove God, then he must be true. -
I totally agree with what Emma said.

The Catholic Church actually never officially said anything about evolution vs creationism. You're allowed to believe what you want on that matter. I'm not sure about the Big Bang Theory though. I know it does say that people may be born gay, however, they're not allowed to act upon it (I personally am for gay marriage though).
Most people are idiots and just mindlessly follow people who claim to know so much about the Church who, in reality, are probably the furthest from the truth. -
Pope John Paul II actually acknowledged that evolution could be an alternative to creationism, which was basically his way of saying he believed in evolution. So the Catholic Church officially doesn't have a problem with their followers believing in evolution.
-
Also, he allowed girls to become altar servers, something that was unheard of and had been forbidden before. In my opinion, he was the best pope.
-
I mean, he credited science for a lot of things.
-
I also believe in evolution. But since I allso believe in young earth not much evolution happened.
