The devil cannot do anything without God's permission. And it's not like this, either.
Devil: Hey, God, I was wondering- is it okay if I test Amber today? You know, on her math test, and with her boyfriend...see how she handles it.
God: Oh, sure, I'm getting tired of her whining over nothing anyways. this'll give her something real to worry about..
NO!!! Not like that. But we are going to be tested and go through trials. We have to be able to have a choice. Way back when sin even entered the world, we CHOSE that we wanted to live this way. So now? We have to deal with it.
God has promised though that He will NEVER leave us NOR forsake us. and it's true. -

Unexpected, the way you just randomly bring stuff up is quite annoying. I mean, at least wait until there's an open question about something and answer logically giving sites from the CCC, Bible, or whatever the "official list rulings on religious issues" is called in your religion (not sure what religion you are, so don't know what to use). Anyway, I find the way you go about things to be quite annoying, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
And the devil is 100% against God and tries to get more souls into Hell, so no, the devil does not have God's permission to do things, God just does nothing about it because it does better test us. Never was the devil formally given permission to tempt mankind. He got kicked out of Heaven for goodness sake! -
e.e I don't believe any of this stuff, so this whole thread is kind of painful. And why did you feel the need to post this here? You could have just posted it on Bob's thread.

@unexpected It's really bad when you're a christian and other christians can't stand you. If your god is working with the very thing your religion says is complete and utter evil, wouldn't that kind of say something about your god?

I'm sorry, I just can't let your first statement go, with the whole "God gives the devil permission" thing.
The Church acknowledges that there has been a war between heaven and hell since Lucifer (the devil) chose not to follow God along with his followers. Therefore, we have God and his angels on one side and Satan and his demons on the other.
It is a war. The devil does not have God's permission for anything.
Just, how can you not know something so important to our religion? -
