.....by going on and on about how..lets use Christianity as an example and calling it the RIGHT religion. RIGHT religion? There is no right religion, you need to learn to respect other peoples religions and races. Yes this might sound strange comming from an atheist girl but I get very defensive when people start talking crap about right religions. Inmy opinion religions are based on theory and beliefs of how the world was created, what happens after we die, etc. There are many religions which have their own ways to explain these things, there's Buddaism, Hindusism, Islam, etc. I've grown up in a place which has been influenced by all these many cultures and religions and I have grown a great amount of respect for these many religions, I've lived life in a Hindu family and I'm the only atheist but I respect my family's beliefs, and I think I should point out that maybe...maybe..you guys should really try and be more respectful to other religions. Thats my reason for creating this thread, I don't want to start some huge debate, argument or fight. I just wanted to voice my feelings on this issue

I respect all beliefs. Yes, I do believe there is absolute right and wrong in the world, but it's like being a retarded chicken making fun of non-believers. :I I hate it. So many Christians think they're doing something right when they're doing it completely wrong.
Even Jesus didn't want to hang out with the arrogant organized religion of the time. He wanted to be with non-believers, because a relationship with God is personal, not through man. He did things because he love's creation, not because he wanted everyone to bow down mindlessly. I used to be extremely skeptical about Christianity, so in a lot of ways I understand what atheists and agnostics say, but in my heart I do feel connected to God and that he is real, and if I'm wrong, oh well. At least I'm happy. x3
Anyways, this is just my opinion. Like I said, I personally love hearing different religions and people. I will never shove what I believe down someone's throat, because to me it's disgusting, rude, and most of all not what I believe God would have it be. :I -
Don't use the word theory. You clearly don't know the meaning of that word. A theory is something that is tested (scientifically usually) and proven correct. Religion isn't based on any theory. ONLY beliefs.

But on the hand, when you practice religion, and you believe it, to you that is the RIGHT religion. The one true supernatural being that did x, x and x
So it is possible to respect somebody's beliefs and at the same time and believe religion is not the one true religion. -
The thing about theory is a common misconception. Think mathematical theorem, not loosely-structured hypothesis.
