Luke 21:25 Christ speaks of the end times, "there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity."
Revelations 6:12 and 8:12 "The sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.... and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon... so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise." These verses tell us that God will use special signs, such as the darkening of the sun and moon, to signal the end of this age. And at the end of this age Christ will come "in a cloud with power and great glory."
The Nasa astrology division states that the earth has seen 45 solar eclipses since year 1. Sorry Christians, you missed him. -
