Infinity NewbieSo if you kill someone, it's still the same gudgement as robing an ice cream shop? What if you do it in reverse? i.e. If I save someone's life, risking my own, I get the same reward as someone that donated $20 to a homeless person?

dw1996 NewbieYea, maybe this isn't the Christian way of thinking, but stealing and killing are much worse than sex before marraige. Stealing and killing are both greivous acts of disrespect towards someone else. Sex before marraige, if both people consent, hurts no one.

I only disagree with sex before marriage because it can result in divorce and abortion. If you marry someone and take the vows they you stay together FOREVER. If you have sex, it's your responsibility with your partner to take care of the baby.

PotterFan1899 NewbieI think if you use protection, do it with someone you care about and cares about you, and don't have it when you are under 16, having premarital sex is perfectly fine.

also, how do you 'divorce' someone you haven't married? if you're having sex with them before marriage, then...what? I can't even. -
I wouldn't have sex before marriage, but that's only because in the case that I have a child, I want it to grow up in a stable environment.
It has no religious reason for me whatsoever- I don't believe a being has laid out any laws for how we should live. Just that some things are better avoided than not.
