So, I'm thinking of becoming a buddhist. I know a bit about buddhisim like karma and the story of the buddha and I would really love some people to give me some advice. Thank you. Oh and I currently have no religion.

Go for it. There's no harm in expanding your viewpoint, and later on, if you don't feel it's right for you, you can always leave.
I personally was Buddhist for a few months. If I had to go back to a religion, that would be it. -

Buddhism is a lovely religion. Very interesting, peaceful. Before you switch over though, I would recommend doing your research. Go to the library and find a few books, read up on it and decide for yourself. Have fun and congrats on the new belief.
