My Opinion Is:
Relgion doesn't get you into Heaven. It's what kind of person you are that gets you into Heaven, and there are other possibilities of why people got on here, and yes, they are believable. But my opinion is to not take any chances, believe in God (which I would have anyway) and be what you are... Human. Humans aren't perfect, and we make mistakes called "Sins" but I don't care. As long as you are a good person, you'll end up where you want to be. And yes, you can pray and that will try to make up for some sins you might have done, but I don't think being extremely religious is my type of thing. That's just me.
Of course I do believe in God.
But I'm not going to spend every few minutes praying, preeching or doing something relgious. Religion in my opinion is just something to follow, like an example, or giving advice. And I also think it's another person's choice of what they believe. If they don't believe in God, let them be. If they worship Satan, let them be. If they worship God, let them be. It's simple to do.
Your opinions on religion and spirituality? Don't do the @[person] on anybody else, btw. Just post what you think, and leave it at that! -
My opinion:
Just live you damn life without all this religious s---. -

Um, okay, not the answers I was expecting. I made this thread so people could give an explanation about their views on stuff, but I guess that works.
And I don't care that much about religion, but this is the Religion and Spirituality forum so I just figured... Eh, whatever. -
Know what I go by? Pascals' Gamble.
That if you follow a religion, and you believe in god, if he is real in the end, then you reach slavation.
But if god WASN'T real, then it doesn't matter, the worst thing that would have happened was that you lived an innocent and hard working life, in the end, you haven't lost anything.
But if you don't believe in god and are athiest, then if god is real in the end, you'll go to Hell, and if he isn't real, then he isn't.
So basically, I always believe in god and have a religion because whether or not god is real is irrelevant because in the end, nothing bad can come to me. =) -
i agree with hikky's post

my opinion is that philosophy and religion follow either fact or faith.
since faith is not somthing i'm willing to buy into, and fact by nature draws a paradox, I am forced to believe in neither science nor god. there is never middle ground. only one plain for which all exists on and for which there is no end.
