Yes, and besides even by s---ting all over religion, it's not going to change me. I'm stupid, remember?
-
@Horus You do realize that Horus is the Egyptian falcon-headed god right? If you knew that when you chose your name, you wouldn't have made this thread would you?
Hours->Egytian god->Egyptian mythology->Egyptian religion->RELIGION -
Horus is also the name of my favorite character in a book series I like. He created a religion around himself and proclaimed himself as God. He was able to convert nearly half of all of humanity to follow him and led a revold against the other half who's "God" he knew was man and was corrupt. He fought fire with fire and went down in history as a God himself.
Appay, you're admitting your stupid. Seriously? For one who prides themself on being Klingon savvy, you are pretty blind to simple military tactics. By calling you stupid and belittling you, you were supposed to see how foolish you were being. And yet you accept the title of stupid instantly. Maybe you fit the description better than I thought.
nikki, cope with what? Life? The world? Yourself? What are you trying to cope with?
And tongue, if your friends fundamentals are based on religion, then I hope for the best for you. -
Horus, I agree with you, but you are being a little agressive. I may not agree with Appay's imaginary friends, but I understand that everyone has to have something. I've read those books your talking about for your name, and my personal favorite character is Magnus. I think nikki meant life... or all of the above?.
And I also have friends who are religious. I dont think tongue meant all the murderes and exicutions when he said, "fundamentals". -
That was sarcasm, moron.
-
tongue AdvancedHey, they don't lie to me, they don't stab me in the back. I don't care whether they learned that from church, family, or wherever, because the end result is that you have someone you can count on.
-
P.S. You must have been forum stalking to find out about my being a Klingon.
-
know what...
we shouldnt even have a religion form because all that goes on is fighting anger why even post if you know somebody on here is going to disagree with your religion.... -
Because we can debate it and are not afraid to do so.
-
RANDOM QUESTION. Bob, is this another one of your second accounts?
-
My acount is only 6 days younger than yours. I've been here for a long time. Also, I know you were using sarcasm. But you still arent taking the hint. Look at yourself. Look at what you're putting faith into. And look at its history. You're all basically saying to yourself, "the wolf isnt biting right now, it must be safe." With such a long history of violence led by people just like you who knew that "there must be a god", how can you honestly sit there and be content with yourself. Break away from such attrocities. You're capable of so much better than "good enough."
And Tongue, like with my reply to appayipip, I bet all those people who were doing, "gods will" had alot of friends who had "someone you can count on" stab them in the back because god told them to. -
tongue AdvancedWell in that case we shouldn't have a politics forum either. Aren't those the two things you're never supposed to talk about, politics and religion? The problem isn't the forum itself, it's the fact that people come to it just to start fights. That doesn't happen on politics or music because no one antagonizes each other. There is value to talking openly about religion. I would think questions of the self and how it relates to the universe is something that should be freely discussed- our existance is of the utmost importance.

I've had alot of second accounts, and a few of them have been stolen. Horus sounds familiar though.
-
Look at the year. Your account is 1 year and 6 days younger than mine.
-
Good point. That still means i've been here for nearly a year. I misread the date on yours. Sue me.
