Do you realize how many people were killed because they didn't have the same belief's as christians? Sure, one dude was crucified, but that was a way the romans had for punishing people, and it was done to a lot more people before jesus, and yet you don't see anyone praying to them. And somehow, you say that these people, being brutally punished into believing, is in some way a good thing? How dare you. Just because some one isn't a christian, somehow their lives don't matter? And you say that they are being saved. What? How could you say something like that? These are human beings, now matter what, killing them and torturing them is inhumane and wrong. And then you see these missionaries in third world country trying to force people into being christian when what they really need is food, water, clothing and shelter. How can you say in any way that all ov this is in some way good, and how dare you even try and say it.

well the fact is people kill other people for not believing like they do. it's a fact of life, and no as long as ignorant, zealotry exist it will not go away. pagans, Christians, Jews, the list goes on and on. it has little to do with the violence of any particular people, and more to do with a general misunderstanding.

actually there are many occasions that Christians killed, tortured, and destroyed to further there religen. king Richard the lion hearted invaded Jerusalem in a "holy" crusade, the roman Catholics, annihilation of the woad population in most of south Britain....not to mention the witch burnings..are you familiar with The Malleus Maleficarum? it translates into "the witch's hammer" it was hand written by a head inquisitor of the church. it's basically a cook book of ways to torture and kill people who believe differently than the christians....like i said though, i believe it has less to do with Christianity and more to do with the general violence of the world

Well thanks for pointing the witch burnings and all that other stuff you said. Firstly, eh what can i say? I dont believe that people need to be burned because they are witches. But apperantly thats how they delt with witches.
And secondly, Roman Catholics had ISSUES. They made plenty of mistakes.. but maybe they didnt know that some things are ok and others arent.
Thirdly, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Everyone makes mistakes. Some mistakes have large consequences to them as well.
So thats about it. -
