Comfort comes from reliability and understandability.
I personally have found my reliability in the world around me. I know what works and doesnt and if I need to be certain, I can trust what I can prove.
And I have found my understandability in the fact that nothing is left to faith. If we arent sure, we'll find out for sure. There is no unsupportable promise in science. -
I'm not giving up my beliefs, they are reliable and understandable for me.
I'm just going to work harder on being a better person. :P -
to what ends? What qualifies you as a better person? Why not just be a person? A human being? What possesses you to attempt to be better when people love you for who you are already? Nothing, no matter what you believe, should depict how you should live your life. Be happy being you. Dont try to live up to someone elses standards.
