There is the Angel Of Death, and it's coming for everything, everyone- There is an appointed day, hour, minute and even second that our soul will be taken from our human self and we will stand and give account of what we did with our human self. Your dad wont be there, mom wont be.. It's just you, your Maker and the accuser, The King Of The World. If you love your self and the world then i assure you that you will fall.

If you love your self and the world then i assure you that you will fall. um but we’re supposed to love ourselves and the world (which i think of all the people that make up the world when i hear that term), aren’t we? if you don’t mean that then you have to be more specific. unless it’s just me that didn’t get that

1John 2:15-16
'Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world - lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life comes not from the Father but from the world.'
Yet John 3:16 says the opposite, let me explain.
When the Bible says that God loves the world, it is referring to the human beings who live here. So the answer to the other question is:
Love for oneself is selfish. Which is the lust and pride.

Some of us on here (me, specifially- but others too) aren't Christian. We don't believe in a so-called 'Angel of Death' and I personally don't appreciate you telling me exactly how my life is going to end because maybe I believe it's going to end a different way. -

Alright, I'm gonna go ahead and weigh in on this because it's only escalating.
1. This thread is, in fact, in the wrong forum. I apologize to those that were triggered by it- I saw it and posted in it earlier, but didn't think to move it. That was my responsibility and I'm sorry. I'll be moving this thread to The Garden after this post.
2. Religion is never going to be an easy topic. People are always going to disagree and certain aspects of different religions will always be upsetting for some people. Going forward, I'll try to do more to keep religious posts confined to The Garden. That said, if this thread was upsetting for you, maybe consider staying out of The Garden altogether. Religion is a major source of persecution for many of the people on these forums, but religious folks are still entitled to those opinions, and unless they're actively harming or threatening someone, you should not enter their threads just to tell them they've triggered you. I'm not trying to be abrasive in saying this; I just want y'all to protect yourselves. Once this thread is in the correct forum, there will be no excuse to complain about being exposed to it. The Garden is a trigger warning in and of itself. Please do not bother boss baby about this thread, or follow it to The Garden to continue fighting.
3. I don't think anyone was trying to be hurtful in assuming your pronouns. Going off on a tangent about it is unnecessary. It's easy enough to say "actually, my pronouns are ____". If someone continues to use the wrong pronouns after being politely corrected, then frustration is warranted.
