Just wondering. ;) personally, I believe in both demons and angels, but not ghosts. I think that in most (or at least several) cases, it's just demons (fallen angels, dark angels, whatever you wanna call them) messing with people. In a little less than half of the cases, it's just lies people make for popularity, and in some rare cases, the person who thinks they have seen a ghost is insane, seeing things, or even possibly dreaming without knowing they're asleep (Yes, that's possible. I've done it before. xD).
But I do not believe that souls of dead humans can just stay here on earth and run around if they want.
(You may disagree because of religion...) I believe that when you die, you have no choice of where you go. You either go to heaven or hell. Period. There is no "Roam around on earth and be creepy" option.

Lol, heph..... I believe in ghosts.... Why? I can see! No i'm not insane, and no i'm not dreaming either.... Spirits and ghosts are simply those people who havent be accepted into heaven or hell, coz they have some unfinished business on earth.... Well.... Thats what i believe.....yes, i can see ghosts!!!.....

I have a degree in paranormal research and am recognized by the state as a paranormal investigator. I have studied both the scientific and the religious aspect of spirits and of demons and can proudly say that I have had both expieriences in the field that I can explain... and some that I cannot. As for the question of whether or not there are ghosts, I feel I should inform you that very few ghost cases are infact "Demons", and that most of them are your later belief and are the side effects of certain drugs or paranoia. Still, discluding the mental casses I have personaly disproven, I must tell you that far more legitimate cases are infact, the ghosts of dead humans, rather than fallen angels themselves.

Wow, barberbob, im studying the paranomarl too, though i dont have a degree yet..... I dont think i ever will hve a degree, but i study the paranormal anyway. And, really, i havent heard of a demon or angel haunting a house... Heres a defination i made up about ghosts- Ghosts are disoriented people that had some unfinished business before they died. So if u are stressed, depressed,etc, and u die stressed, depressed,etc, then u are likely 2 become a ghost. If u are murdered then u may become a ghost too, depending on how restless your spirit is. Well, thts my research, i know, its kinda far fetched but it made sense too me....alittle...... What do u think...??

I believe that that may be part of it. You also have to consider the area, and what kind of spirit. There are certain types of metal that absorb the same electric pulses that the human body produces. It is debated on whether or not this is the cause for a residual haunting. Also, natural energy sources such as running water or naturaly occuring quartz have been found to preserve your average spirit.

So, in other words, the area u in also determines whether your spirit stays or leaves earth???

I read an article about an elderly lady who moved back into the same house she grew up in as a child. After being there for a couple months she started to get some paranormal activity. As it turns out what she was seeing was a residual haunt of herself as a child. Residual haunts dont mean the person has to be dead. They just mean there has to be a spiritual fingerprint in the area. -

No offense to the people here who actually believe in ghosts, but I also think quite a few people just say they believe in ghosts just to be cool or whatever. There's a 10 year old down the street of my house who doesn't believe in God because there's not enough evidence or whatever, and yet he believes in the greek gods. o.O He also has an imaginary pet dragon who apparently lives on the moon, thinks he's a wizard, and he says the ghost of a 17 year old girl with knives sticking out all over her body visits him at midnight because she thinks he's her murderer. My brother has been to a sleepover at his house twice, and nothing happened at midnight. xD

Well.... Im not like tht.... I study the paranormal, all the aspects.... And i dont think its cul coz people think u a freak....but i study it anyway.... Nakita U believe in demons and angels but not ghosts??? Arent ghosts partial demons or angels? Just asking, no offence...!
