The faith in One clown troupe is composed of the high school youth group at my church. After church, we meet for a couple of hours on Sunday. From those two hours (for 4-5 weeks, so really 8-10 hours) an act is born. You see, we make a church service, like one big performance to music (5 songs or so). We are not allowed to talk during performances, so we use signs and acting to get the congregation to say church related stuff, like "Father, Son, Holy Spirit, One". Oh yeah and we say Amen by clapping towards the big cross that's behind the altar. Congregation members have been moved to tears because of our performances. It's beautiful. The rest of the troupe went to Goodwill to get costumes (just mismatched pjs and suspenders, that kind of thing.) but I was at Disney. Good thing today's performance is only one song, after pastors sermon. We don't need costumes or clown makeup for today. It's just one song. BUT ITS MY FIRST ONE!!! We are doing it at the Saturday service and both Sundays. I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!!
