I guess.
I love my parents though, but it honestly just makes me really mad when they won't let me have my own beliefs.
Was it unnecessary? Oh, my bad.. I've never had my first kiss though, let alone have had sex, so I've never hopped in anyone's pants and vice versa. :P
They do, you're exactly right. And I respect and love my parents very much. And I agree with Lions, your views are a little weird, and I guess that parents do know what's best for us. But how can we be comfortable with thinking for ourselves when we don't even get to think for ourselves growing up? -
Wrong account, sorry. That was me.

When her parents expect her to follow Christianity, the she should follow, she may follow whatever she feels like when she is not dependent on her parents.
-
Okie dokie, I'm different.
-
Percie, are you speaking what you really believe or are you just saying that because you don't like me?
-
I don't dislike you, I really like you.
-
I'm having difficulties believing that. And even if so, I don't really care if you like me or not. Whatever man, your opinion.
-
I'm speaking what I believe is right.
-
Okay. As long as you think it's right, you have your beliefs. But I happen to disagree with some of them.
-
Whatever age she is, her parents shouldn't tell her what her beliefs should be. Or they can but she doesn't have to follow them. Or need to especially when it comes to something like religion.
If it's educational wise or financial wise then yeah it would be better to listen to them but when it comes to s--- like clothing style, creativity, religion, etc, then they don't really need to tell her what to do.
A parents input is only good on some topics. Religion isn't one -
Thank you, Shido.

Brownie, you should respect your parents wishes because they are in authority over you. I think the way they are doing it is wrong, but you still should respect your parents wishes
-
Okay but why?
