To be serious though, you don't need to go to one extreme or the other. That's a fallacy and you know it. Just because something can't be taken at 100% face value 100% of the time doesn't mean you can disregard 100% of it. The law of God is infallible. That at least is not ones own opinion. You can argue about what part of the Bible is the law of God, after all, interpretation; but simply waving your hands and going 'well, if I can't take it all literally, why listen to it at all,' is not a good attitude to take. -
I believe in a god, but the religious god is simply ridiculous to me. I just believe there should be something up there.

Secondly, I post everywhere on the site, excluding the Lounge because the condensed stupid would kill me instantly. Hell, take a look at my profile, I've got at least six different sub-forums there. I assume you're only noticing my posts here because you expect to see my posts here. Confirmation bias and all that.
Thirdly, I'm confident. Not over-confident. It comes with knowing what you're talking about.

Obviously Loner is the final decider on what is and isn't true.
And Kish, the point of the thread is to see where people stand on the issue. Waiting until you die is all fine and dandy. It's the people who lump together "after they die" with "how I act while I'm alive" that give issue. -

Christianity is about peace and love, right?
God says you should kill homosexuals and every single person who doesnt follow his rules will burn in hell.
So peaceful, isnt it? Being burned for eternity.
And also, it promotes rape.
