And something really inspiring dawned on me.
Mary has been depicted as the most beautiful woman ever for thousands of years, yet, I can't find a statue or portrait where she has perfect curves or a flat stomach. Hell, there's this statue of her in my church where she has a tummy and no curves.
Mary, the Mother of God, symbol of strong women and beauty for thousands of years, doesn't have a "perfect" body.
For me, it doesn't matter if you believe in the Christian religion or not, just the fact that someone who has stood for beauty for so long isn't depicted as society's stereotypical beautiful girl is inspiring, at least for me it is. It reminds me that everyone is beautiful because beauty isn't defined by society, it's defined by who you are. -
Yeah, it's not really that philosophical and poetic, it's just have the body you're comfortable with. But obesity is not sexy, not saying that curves=obese. But seriously once you hit the 200 pound mark they aren't "curves" anymore.

beauty is a word and it's been defined by many artists, poets, linguist, rulers, and societies across history.
I think beauty is a word that describes emotional reaction, and when people define beauty they're really just explaining what does it for them.
So if I'm right about that, the real definition of beauty can be summed up in a single adage: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. -
fancy meeting you here by the way babe ;)
