Please explain further why you think believing in God is psycho.
Why don't you think it's logical? Why do you not feel you will get anything out of believing in God? -
It's just not logical. Just take a minute to think about all the crazy bible stories. And I don't feel the need to believe in god because i can be a good person without him. If anything i think atheists are more moral than Christians because they do good for the sake of being good, not because there's someone judging them.

It's that that God is psycho. It's not that believing is psycho. It's the people who believe in him are. There is no logical way to prove that he is 'there' or 'loves' you. It's the idea in your theory that is psycho.

Plenty of reasons.
The one I'm not too half-assed to explain right now (because I am answering questions) is that I'm tired of people using god to discredit my and many others' hard work.
My artistic talent isn't god given, it was pure hard work. -

I lost all hope in believing in the bible when a virgin gave birth... I prefer the true facts and unless it is proven that virgins can give birth no more bible for me.
P.S I am not the blind fate type person who believes in everything they read written by other normal people or insane don't know which one there
And same as sapphire, I actually know people who have used up their own money and time and helped alot of people (charities and even just finding random people on the streets), 2 of them are athiests and 1 of them is a satanist but they are the most helpful people I have known and even though some people keep telling them that they are sinners and going to hell they keep helping people out. Why? Because they care not because they want to go in heaven since they don't believe in heaven
But I can tell you this, the majority of you christians trying to convert people is because you think you are going to heaven I know more than half of you christians don't give a damn about the people
If I had a choice of joining any religion christianity is most certainly not on the list :D -
A variety of people contributed to the scriptures presented in the bible. They were doing as God told them; 'teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness' so that ALL nations may know about the Holy One (Jesus/God).
John 14:6 (NIV) says- "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Here, we see that Jesus = eternal life. Jesus is the truth.
John 3:16 (NIV) says- "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." This is incredibly exciting! By trusting in Jesus we will be saved. We are so lucky to have a God that truly loves us. At the end of the rocky road, we'll find peace. Peace is found in Jesus!
'ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God is thoroughly equipped for every good work.' 2 Timothy: Chpt 3 vs 17-17 (NIV)
'All scripture is God-breathed'. This means it is perfect because God is perfect! For those of us who know and love Jesus; it is out duty to spead the word of the holy gospel. "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations (people who follow, know and love Jesus).....teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
Believing, trusting and following Jesus is soooo relevant to today! :D
