Really? Because you said "God could have just sent down another baby waiting in heaven, they could have sent down another child to take your place" and that's called reincarnation because if they're already in heaven, then they would've died.

Babies form when the sperm and the egg merge, which forms a zygote, and then the baby starts to form.

They are still alive, but when they die, they either go to the summer land (or heaven) and wait for them to return to earth. Unless if that was their last time on earth, in which case they would stay in the summer land.
