Why is there not a cross emoticon? I figure it's okay to post this here?

One person isn't enough. Besides, you could always get a small picture of a cross off the Internet, convert it to the proper URL file thing on tinypic, keep a copy of it on your computer, and use that.

I assumed it's because as soon as you adhere to one religion, you'd have the others complaining about why there isn't an emoticon for their religious symbol and so forth.
Once you make one exception, you have to say yes to all, which is an incredible amount of work for a programmer like GTQ guy, whom obviously has some sort of a life outside of this website and cannot dedicate all the time in the world in creating emoticons of all religious symbols. -
Because he does not have the time. And as Carri said, people of other religions might complain and want their own religious symbol to have an emoticon. Do you know how much time that would take?
