Christmas has long been warped into a commercial holiday, devoid of it's original meaning (pagan or non-pagan)
it doesn't matter what it originally was, people just celebrate it because it's a day for families and stuff to gather and be together. Which is what Christmas is about now if I remember correctly.
Of course, how would I know
I've never celebrated Christmas. It's like Memorial Day in my house on the 25th. -
