Thread Topic: I'm confused on my own religion.

  In fact, religion itself. What it's all beliefs and none of it's real? And I go to a Christian church, but I don't agree with everything (most things) and a lot ofthings don't make any sense whatsoever. Like when the people are kinda bashing gays, I said something about his they were wrong, they said I was being controlled by a demon and they prayed over me. I didn't get it. I'm not the wrong one.
  
  But it's just a confusing mess. Any help?

  Back when I went to church, they often turned me away from youth groups because I was "evil." Fuck church.

  I tend to think it is best to steer clear of organized religion and develop your own personal sense of faith. You can believe in God without having to go through the whole religious experience.

  FLgirl92, Steer clear of organized religion as we know it. Good choice. Question everything and expect definite answers from God's word, the Bible. When you find those answers, you'll find the truth. The religious world today has no answers. They are all confused. The true God has always had an organization through which he conveys his truths beginning with the ancient Isrealites. When they killed his son, he abandoned them and started a new one beginning with Jesus and his apostles. That organization has re=emerged today. Find it and you'll find the one true God. These are crtitical days and we will soon see some very critical events coming from this God.

  ashl3y I think you need a new church. To me, gay marrige is wrong but to say that you are being controlled by a demon is.... weird and insane. Some people call themselves Christians but only think that it means that you have to dress up and yelled into people faces. That is not what God wants Christians to do.
