Thread Topic: I think the disbelief in greater beings is somewhat ignorant
-
I very much believe that there are greater, much more evolved beings than humans exit within this universe. Beings whose abilities greatly surpass that of mankind. But not gods, deities who are meant to be worshiped and revered. But who knows, maybe great being(s) of immense power did create us. The belief that humans could not have been created by some outside, intelligent force isn't completely farfetch'd (at least to me it isn't). I would say that humans are most definitely not supreme in the universe, and to deny any possibility that something intelligent created us or at least caused our creation is just asinine. I do not believe in gods, nor would I call a being that humans abilities pale in comparison a god. All I'm saying is to keep an open mind and consider all possibilities, and not to be a closed minded little cunt. So ya, thats all I have to say. This thread will most likely be ignored since people here avoid my like hell, but whatever. I just felt like sharing my thoughts, so fuck off. Sitting at your computer all day trying to feel good about yourself by dick measuring to the max on internet forms, GTFO!

I'm certain there are grammar errors here and there, so if you're going to correct me, as I said, fuck off.

Well I'm only now responding because I actually did have a life today and was busy. But here I am.
My only issue with this is your misuse of the word "disbelief". You are using the word disbelief but associating it with the definition of the word denial. In short, you've misunderstood our point on this.
I do not believe that there is a higher being. This simply means that with the evidence presented before us, that there is no logical reason I see to draw the conclusion that there is a higher being. I see no evidence, therefor I will not submit to the idea.
Denial is what you were explaining. And I agree, that denial is ignorant. Being 100% certain that there's nothing is as foolish as being 100% certain that there's something.
We have the same views on this bro. Just different understandings of how we explain it. -
Well I think we are on the same page and that we pretty much share the same stance on this subject, so I'll have to apologize for not explaining myself well and misusing words from time to time.

A god might have created this world,us and even those great powers, but a god doesn't need to be worshiped,it's some religion s---.
We need to change our perspectives of god.
A god that's actually a "god" isn't so easily understandable or describeable as it is in religion or what we might think.
There are infinite possiblys on what god is and why he's created us,what his plan is.Just use your imagination and everything we'll be uncovered
after death,be it what atheists believe or what I believe. -
I don't know if I made sense.I'm not in a good mental state.
-
I wouldn't use the term god. And I've tried to stay away from this one term to avoid sounding silly but fuck it, ALIENS (Otherworldly beings of higher power, get it now?)
-
*possiblities
I get it.I have problem with you using plural term.I think it makes more sense to me if it's one, like ALIEN,not ALIENS. -
Why? Because their can only be one "god"? If that's what you mean, then no. Just no.
-
The god that's a god,is one in my opinion. It's just my thought because one infinite god makes more sense to me than a group of "gods".
Again it's just my opinion, the god I believe is infinite(if it makes sense)therefore bunch of "infinite" gods doesn't make sense. -
I don't think we are on the same page at all dude.
