It can be considered a sin. It really depends on what you think about it. If you think masturbating is having sex with yourself, then yes, it's a sin. If you don't, then it's not. It's more or less based on your own morals because in no way can you get pregnant or is another person involved.

I don't think God would make sex a sin since its natural...I mean, in the days of the Neanderthals they probably didn't have marriage...so that's why I really don't think sex or maturation is a sin even though I'm catholic, thus my previous post. Some people consider it to be, others don't.

It depends on your religion and your views. Really its just a matter of your own personal opinion.
I personally think it is. But for those of you who think its not, I wont argue with you, because like I said, its a matter of an opinion. -
