Alright then.
200 posts! -
Okay then.

hi corpse
-
"I'd rather be a better person by my own standards than by christian standards" You stated that incorrectly.
If i may fix it. You should have said, I'd rather be a better person by my own standards than by God's standards.
See you were off because christians didnt make their own standards. Jesus and God did.
(Bambi congrats on 200 posts :D -
No, I said what I meant to say, so keep all smart ass comments to yourself.
-
And plus, god only exist within the followers themselves. But Jesus did exist...and he was a Jew...and a middle easteern...so take that...whit power my ass...lol, wait, what?
-
God doesnt only exist in me and or his followers. Who do you think keeps the world in its place? Who made the trees and the grass? Who tugs on the hearts of unbelievers and lets them be saved?
I often think of God like the wind, You cant see the wind, only what the wind does. Same with God! You can see all the things he has made and all the things he does.

okay then
...
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY -
Merci Kirsteen
And I like the wind analogy. Very poetic and spiritual -
Thanks
Corpse- maybe someday you'll want to know God,... apperantly that wont be any time soon....
-
I try to put that in my mind.
With athiesm... no matter how hard you tell yourself god is real and he is there... deep down, you're telling yourself it's bullsh1t, you don't believe god is there.
That's how I feel, yet, there is a spiritual part of me, and that's what keeps me praying every day, and taking half an hour or so of my time to devote to god, yet I'm athiest.
It's basically 50/50, I still believe in god, but a huge chunk of me doesn't, and I feel guilty if I don't do what I know is right, religion wise, because I keep thinking and believing god is there, yet a part of me says that there could be other reasons as to why the world was created or by whom. -
I like music- I know sort of what you go through. There are always whispers of disbelief, lies, and all kinds of bad ideas that go into my head. But there is also part of my that tells me the the truth. For example
Ill hear this "Kirsteen, God doesnt exist. He doesnt hear you when you pray"
But then i hear, "Yes he does and you know it!"
That second voice is the Holy Spirit and thats the voice i choose to listen to. Although it is difficult sometimes i listen to that voice.
And Christians call that faith. -
I guess I'm running low on faith, not matter how hard I try, it just doesn't come to me, they give me all the reasons, but I can see others...
-
Oh shut up, I'm a hairy old Pagan....
-
Wow, that must be... almost otherwordly Kirsteen...
