  Im losing faith in god and my own parents are turning against me, calling me a 'shaunda' (that's hebrew for 'disgrace' or 'shame on the family')

  From the christian point of view I do not mean to start an arguement or offend.
  If you do not worship God you worship the devil. However they should respect your earthly beliefs and try to bring you to christianity. Not by ridicule or insults but by helping them and kindly showing them the word of God.

  Just to keep the conversation going Geek, worship in itself requires a willingness to praise something. Worship of God requires a coherent praise of God. Saying that "if you're not with us, then you're against us" is a pretty narrow minded viewpoint. If we do not believe something exists, then how are we worshipping it? There is no logic to that.
