Well, I wouldn't say that exactly, but it is just a little hypocritical to punish killing with more killing. But the real reason I oppose the death penalty is because of how f---ed the legal system usually is, and because hundreds of people are on death row who shouldn't be, and that there have been several cases in the last several years of people who were probably wrongly convicted being executed. There was a case in Alabama where a mentally retarded man was executed. The application of the death penalty is also racially biased. And probably the biggest factor in my veiw: it's more expensive to keep someone on death row than with the general prison population.

Well, if it's a rapist killer or a one- time murderer? Prison or maximum security prison. Not death penalty. A serial killer who has killed like 13 people and will probably kill more? Death penalty, because you're losing one very wrong- doing life, vs. multiple innocent lives. That's my opinion, though.
