  The world is full of crap. It's hard. It kicks you when you're down. It ignores you when you beg for help, and it leaves you to drown. But not your parents.
  
  They might not always seem approving. They might put you down and make you feel terrible, but in the end, they are there for you with your best interest in mind.
  
  Happiness doesn't matter. It's over rated. It's useless and not applicable to the real world. You can worry about happiness after you are stable in life. Writing? Won't bring in a paycheck. Write when you have a roof over your head. Drawnig? Same thing as writing. Hetalia won't keep the rain off you. Piano? If you're not good enough to go professional, then it's useless. And good luck finding a piano to play when you can barely afford food.
  
  They may piss you off. They may get on your nerves and they may put you down. But they always have your best interest in mind. Fuck happiness. It's over rated anyway.

  I say do what makes you happy because it's your life, not theirs. I get what you're saying, I didn't understand some of the insults a lot of people go through that, but just do what you want. If they don't approve just vent to us if you want and we'll try to help you, but if you can drown them out in your happiness.

  :I Alice, keep doing what you love to do. I don't give a s--- what the world says. It's all about balance. Yes, studying and such is good, but without the things in life that make you happy, what is the point of living? Do you live to work or work to live?

  Meh so sorry... I know how you feel, my mom is sometimes like your dad AND your mom. Your parents must be a pretty bad one in your eyes. And P.S. Try and live your life the way you want it. Besides, you only live once in your time. You can't get another life like in video games. Whatever happens, happens. Whatever is finished, is finished. Here is what your parents don't understand. They don't know that what matters most is family and being happy. Money and success is another pebble in your life jar. :)
