First off, I guess the best place to start with a rant on everything would be to rant about ranting. Ranting in itself is usually misquoted. It isnt yelling or getting pissed off at everyone. Its not getting mean or hateful. Ranting in my opinion is an art form. It is the ability to express an opposition in a way that flows and has an impact on the reader. With that being said, I would also like it to be known that there is a difference between ranting and debating. Debating in itself is its own entity. Debate is the use of logic and reasoning to argue two opposing viewpoints. I.E. You can rant by yourself, but you can only debate with someone else.
Since this is a rant about everything I guess Ill start with the taboos. Politics, Sex, and Religion.
Politics
Ill be honest, politics has never really interested me. Its always seemed petty, ignorant, backstabbing, and malicious to me. And thats not what I enjoy. Politicians in their nature have distracted themselves from what theyre supposed to be doing. They are putting more effort into making sure they stay in position than they are actually trying to do anything good. That in itself should raise a red flag to you all. As far as I can tell, there would only be one reason why keeping the job would be more important and take priority over doing a good job. And that would be to milk the system. Politicians arent interested in the public. No matter what they may tell you. I mean, sure, there may be that one in a million who actually wants to do good. But the odds are so against them actually being in any form of power, that its negligible to put it lightly. In my opinion, put politicians on minimum wage. The more good they do, the more they get paid. See how fast we actually start to get results then.
Sex
My second rant is going to be over the topic of Sex. Sex is sex is sex. It is a physical process that people enjoy and it also makes babies. These two things do not have to go together. If you want sex without a kid, good for you. In fact, I support you. Wear a rubber, get something cut, have an abortion, or whatever else you need to do to just keep tapping it without regret. If you want a kid, but are scared of the pain of child birth, adopt. Kids always want a home. And kids mean the world to me. I love kids. Does this mean that I want to resist sex until Im ready to have one? Hell no. I myself was an unplanned child, and now I live with my grandparents. Not every kid was so lucky. If you want your own child, then let it be planned and on your terms. If you just want a kid without the pain, adopt. If you want to screw each others brains out without regret, then wear protection and keep it smart. Dont let peer pressure force you to keep a child. Dont put yourself in that position.
Scientists are legally not allowed right now to do anything with fetuses; but thats mostly because of the fuckers who think its inhumane. Oddly enough, these are the same fuckers who were against the HPV vaccine, even though it would save lives. Its the idea that sex would become safer. That they wouldnt be able to put as much taboo on it. Look it up. The HPV vaccine was actually argued against by the pro-life community. This is because if you look at the pro-life community it is more of an idea to treat pregnancy like a punishment. Its not pro-life. Its anti-women. The pro-life community lost all credibility when they started throwing Molotovs into abortion clinics. Theyre practically screaming that theyre pro-life as long as you dont get a say in the matter. Its sick.
That rant turned into more of an abortion rant, so whilst I said Id do religion next, Im going to do abortion first. A fetus is not a person yet. It is a fetus. An egg is not a chicken. A fetus is not a person. It is a growth. It feeds off of its host. That sounds more like a fungus than a human being. I am not calling a fetus a fungus, but you get the picture. With that being said, I also believe that if you are going to get an abortion do not hesitate. First or second trimester. By third, youre committed. The child could survive, albeit mal-developed, without you. So if youre in the first or second trimester, may I suggest getting an abortion if you dont want the child?
Religion
Now for the religion rant. Let it be known that whilst I could write a book on this topic, I am actually getting very tired of repeating myself over and over again every time some new cocky bastard shows up and starts preaching the word of God. If you want my religion debates. They literally litter 200+ pages of the R&R forum. A few highlights being that the bible is an article of faith, not a viable source. You cannot quote the bible and expect anyone to take you seriously. Evolution is a fact. It is observable and accepted by most of the freakin world. The idea of an all loving, all knowing, all powerful God is a logical fallacy in itself. No matter what you claim about your God, any story, any words, any decrees, it will cause two or more of those things to contradict each other. Your wizard in the sky is a lie. The community that has been feeding it to you has a very long history of violence, ignorance, and bloodshed. And do your own damn research.

The same way story telling or poetry is. It's an expression of strong emotion through written word. It has to flow and have an impact on the audience to be good.

Although.. I have my own opinions about abortion. By 20 weeks the heart starts beating and the brain has started to form. I myself am not for abortion. I do not believe in it. If i do something im not punishing my unborn baby. That is my opinion.

Except for I don't really like kids, but that's because I've had too many bad experiences with the fuckers. -
I never said that ranting doesn't have negative connotations. So does beat poetry. And yet it's still an art form. And an angry academic speech is all that ranting is.
Appay, I haven't. But eh, to each his own.
Nuna, I'm not going to start this for both of our sakes. And it's not really a topic I enjoy debating over. Especially when I have no reason to. -
