Wow, you just had to bring religion into this :)
Everyone has their own way of dealing with these things. Some people use religion, some use booze, some use weed, or various combinations of those things. I know some people who play violent video games to keep sane, and it seems to work well. I personally like to put on some heavy metal, turn my speakers on full blast, and mosh around my room. -
