I survived as half goth half artsy... School was really judgemental...

Middle school doesn't exist here. Made the jump from elementary to high.

I didn't make a stereotype for myself. I didn't make myself fit someone elses judgement. I was me, I was happy, and I made it though just fine.

I just did what I did.
I made some friends and did s---. It was cooler than junior high is.
Btw, what age/grade are the middle,junior high, high school progressions?
I've been to 2 schools. Both originally had K-12 grades -
Um,I spent most of my time in detention :P was called goth then too.
Middle school was 6th to 8th here. -
Elementary here is kindergarten to fifth grade. Middle school is sixth through eighth and high is ninth through twelfth.
I'm still in middle school. So I guess I haven't "survived" it yet. -
"Survived"? Really? I didn't "Survive" it. I just went through it like everyone else. I didn't get in any trouble and I think I fell a lot. And then when I was in 8th grade, I would walk straight down the middle of the hallway and people would move outta my way. :P.

No middle school in England. Just primary then high school, or sometimes college. I made the jump from never stepping foot in a school all my life to college.
I'd advice you to be a converstaionalist, be positive, and be true to yourself. Be prepared to step outside your comfort zone. Be friendly. It'll fall into place. -
3 rules-
1. Follow the regular rules and junk.
2. Be nice and curtious to others.
3. Make jokes!

dw1996 NewbieI survived because I have a sense of humor and I don't take s--- from anyone. I got detention once, maybe twice, and my parents took away my phone, my games, my music, everything for 2 weeks. So yeah, following the rules helps too. Better not to let yourself be swallowed alive and let all the bulls--- get to you.

I survived by staying in the background, sticking with my two best friends, and by saying as little as possible.
