Like really, who the f--- cares of the kid has an imaginary friend? If he has a healthy social life, I wouldn't be too worried. Unless he's using it as a mistress or protitute... But if he does not have a healthy social life, do NOT worry either. This kid is getting good tips on how to make friends from his imaginary one. It's more than healthy for kids to play with people you can't see. They're using their so just let them have their fun. I find nothing wrong with this, do you?

Unless it's schizophrenia, then I say don't worry. I watched 'A Beautiful Mind' and they made everything, that the main character saw, look like it was real to us. I'm guessing that's why parents don't want their kids to have imaginary friends, perhaps they're afraid they'll have schizophrenia.

Imaginary friends aren't bad. I have over 1,500 of them.

Schizophrenia isn't something to worry about with little kids. The onset age isn't until young adulthood. Alot of parents just wanna live vicariously through their kids. Just ask all the dumb--- dads who take pee wee football too seriously.

Tearstruck NewbieI used to have an imaginary friend called Jessica when I was 5 years old. I'm an only child, and it can get boring in my childhood so I created an imaginary friend. Ah... those adventures I've missed. Too bad now that I've turned 16 that my imagination has ripped out of my skin.
Not an imaginative bone in my body now to be able to create a new imaginary friend... Jessica is long gone :( -
