You got wires, going in
You got wires, coming out of your skin
You got tears, making tracks
I got tears, that are scared of the facts
Running, down corridors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here, in a plastic box
I've seen christmas lights, reflect in your eyes
You got wires, going in
You got wires, coming out of your skin
There's dry blood, on your wrist
Your dry blood on my fingertip
Running, down corridoors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
First night of your life, curled up on your own
Looking at you now, you would never know
I see it in your eyes, I see it in your eyes
You'll be alright
I see it in your eyes, I see it in your eyes
You'll be alright
Alright
Running, down corridors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here, in a plastic box
I've seen christmas lights, reflect in your eyes
down corridors, through automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
First night of your life, curled up on your own
Looking at you now, you would never know.

Just one mere song can cause me to enter into such
a deep depression, one that I can't quite shake. I can act happy and content, but this dark sadness is always nagging at me, waiting to creep out and swallow me whole. This impending blackness is what defines me now, all because of one song. One four minute, twenty second song...
Wires by Athlete.
Who would've thought that one short song could leave me drowning in my own tears?
Is it because it defines my life and what I've been through so many times?
Or possibly because the lyrics are just so sad?
I know the reason, and I know that it won't change.
Do you want to know what's the funniest part of it all?
Others find it funny. But I don't.
