Let's play a game. If you want me to, I'll tell you anything you want to know about my opinions. 0 bull. Anything at all. My personal opinions, my personal favorites, or anything else that strikes your fancy. I'll be honest.
-
Well seeing your title I will ask.
Why do you seem to hate us?D: -
I hate what we all have become, Heph. I hate how so many people are biased and hateful in their own rights without any thought at all. I hate how humanity as a whole has accepted extreme ignorance as a socially acceptable way of life. And I hate how the people who haven't fallen victim to this social norm aren't fighting it.
-
Oh, alright.>.> I see.
-
Life sucks, but we move on and deal with it. That's how it works. But when we move on, we aren't supposed to conform to the things that we find suck. But I'm seeing more and more of this acceptance and assimilation crap. What's happened to humans? They used to at least be dependably stubborn. But anymore the only stubborn ones are the assholes. Nobody else shows any backbone anymore. I bet none of you will really stand up to me either.
-
Hmm. Answer me this: Why the hell do you think I won't stand up to you? I'm no wimpass p---- .
-
Also: There's a flaw in humans. It's called weakness.
-
James, you could start a rebellion with that speech. It's truly inspiring.
And to my question....Why do you think humanity became this way? -
... when I try to fight it off, they just say meaner things to me, so I gave up, ... thats why I just gave up fighting back at people who are mean to me, call me a wimp if you want
-
I basically agree with you, except for the reason why you think humanity has fallen.
Not all religious people are crazy damn f---ers. I know some who don't assimilate everyone they see, they just have their beliefs, state it, and roll with it. We're not all the Borg. -
Me O;
-
Oh wrong thred. _.
-
Appay: I was talking about all major fads. From clothing, to food choices, to religion. If you think you have to do it because everyone else is, then you are definitely a borg. The lack of free choice and the ignorance branches out into every branch of culture. Not just religion.
Dragon: Pick your battles. Ignorant pricks are everywhere, and they do come in numbers. But you will find that there are times when a fight can be won, or at the very least, your point will be heard. Show no pity, take no prisoners, and end it quickly and decisively. If you have them on the ground, make sure they won't want to be there again. But remember, you do not fight to the death. Nothing is learned that way. you fight to the pain. What will they have to live with for the longest amount of time. Leave them scarred and bleeding. Leave them blind and mute. But save their ears. That way every gasp in horror, every painful jeer, and every ignorant remark will be etched for them to cherish forever in their perfect ears. (too far?)
Phoenix: I make sure my speeches can be heard and understood. A lot of people actually are capable of similar if they try. It only takes one bad day. That's how far away the rest of the world is from me... Just one bad day.
But to answer your question, humanity did this to itself. Pop culture influences us to act a certain way. It teaches us what sells is what is right, no matter how detrimental that concept is. We sit infront of the tv and incode that social order as our own. Even if we don't realize it, we placebo actual individuality with what we have been raised to believe it is. And if everyone is individual in the exact same way, then what is individual about it? But the issue doesn't stop there. We don't automatically choose to incode these social norms into our brains. I could talk about parents using tv to babysit for them, or how peer pressure causes us to act a certain way, and both of those would be right. But all in all, there are only 3 sources that we develope our personality from. Our parents, our society, and ourselves. But somehow the third one has taken backseat to the other two...
Envy: To stand up to me, you need to do more than ask me a question and tell me you're not weak. You have yet to prove me wrong. And you cannot claim victory until your opponent knows they were wrong for offending you in the first place. So come on, stand up for yourself.
As for your statement, humanity does have weakness, but we also have strength. We have the strength to ignore our weaknesses. It may be tough, and we may feel like we've lost a bit of ourselves in the process. But all we're really losing is a mask and shield. People as a whole are blind, stupid, and mean. But individuals are smart. If you get to know someone, you see past their shield and mask. Their shields being the determination to resist any kind of touch. whether it be out of kindness or hate. They can't feel it. The mask is to hide them from themselves. To believe they are what they say they are. To conform and fit into societies cut out stereotypes. The only mold you should ever fit into is the one you make for yourself. Period. But anymore, we are seeing that weakness you're bragging about, be used against us. And weakness or not, hiding doesn't help us beat it. -
I agree. I just thought this was about religion, since most of your rants (at lest the ones I've read) are.
-
I keep my rants to the appropriate forum. :)
You don't have anything to worry about.
