tongue AdvancedThis is really more about my so-called Facebook friends. Seriously, a good chunk of them are the kids who were part of the popular crowd that I always wanted to be a part of for some reason. I've been out of high school a year and half now, so now I've ended up wondering why the hell I ever wanted to be friends with them. They're nothing like me, but worse even, they're shallow, unintelligent, and completely incapable of meaningful, original thought. So hopefully this can be a lesson to you guys: once you get outta high school, you realize how bogus the popular crowd really is, if you haven't figured out already anyway.

tongue AdvancedI'm seriously considering it. I would delete Facebook altogether, accept I do have good friends on Facebook who I can only keep in contact with through those particular means. It just bugs me to see people with almost 2,000 friends when I only have 125-ish. Both numbers are artificial, of course, but their real number is still larger than mine. That's basically what I hate about Facebook, how it's basically a public competition to see who is more popular. Also those "friends" I'm complaining about all have at least 1,000 friends, so they almost never notice my activity on the site. So really, what's the point of being friends on Facebook if you don't bother to talk to me? It feels like you're still in high school, pretty much.
