I suck at math now! I'm gonna fail the math final that's coming up next week and it's not fair! I haven't had time to study anything lately with all the homework and busy schedule :( and if you fail math in seventh grade, you get heldback :(
So far I have an A or B+ (mostly because I do well on homework and classwork)but the thing is... it's proably gonna get lower :(
What if I fail the math final? I'm not bad at some things in math, it's just equations and negative numbers that keep messing me up. Also it takes me a while to do computations :\
And ughh we had a math quiz today and towards the end of school I asked my teacher if I did bad and she said yes =( -
D: But I'm sure you'll do fine! Just continue to study up and try to get extra help if you can... It'll pay off when Summer is finally here.

Thanks, but I when I study, the next day I forget what I learned. Even if I review before the test. It's normally because I have anxiety attacks when it comes to math and I COMPLETELY zone out.
Do you ever get anxiety during a math test or quiz? Just askin' cause I feel like a dumb butt :P -

The next time you're in class copy down the problems you have difficulty with. Then you can post it on here and we can try to find easy ways for you to remember it.

OMFG you're really still in school?
(thousands of people: YES! PEOPLE ARE STILL IN SCHOOL! MAY 24 IS EARRRRRLY!)
But anyway, just work on skills. As in, pick off all the easy answers first, think of potential glory, focus on your current A or B, stuff like that.
I finished with a B or C (haven't gotten my final grade yet, grr, but I think it's a low B) and an 80% on the final test. -
Damn,but your not alone.I'm TERRIBLE at Math,I didn't even pass my final exams,yet they still let me graduate for some reason.And yah,its normal to be nervous.
But you'll do fine,don't worry.Just study the first thing in the morning before the test,thats what I do.And besides,the test scores and your class grades will advrage up together,and they'll probably get a high grade(unless your failing math class),like your year advrege atleast needs to be a 70 to pass,well thats how it worked when I was in 7th grade.
I dunno if that made any sense,but hell if I made it(I'm very stupid,no lie),then you can. -
None of you are stupid. I just completely forget EVERYTHING when I take the test. I know the stuff, just can't get it all in my head. And I'm a visual learner, I need pictures to help me learn :P
But thanks for the help and advice, really I appreciate it a lot. Espcially when it's times where I vent about my grades lol :P
If I get a B in math on my report card, my mom will start to get all worried and think I'm like failing. Like if I get a 90 she'll be all like how come you didn't get a 100? Bleehk ,_, -
I took a purpose fail in French cause i knew i couldn't pass ._.

i'm not the best at math either. and its hard with my mom because she only thinks a's are good grades. I think f's are bad and everything else is good or great. You'll pass. It might help if you study the types of problems you have trouble with

My mom usually expects a 100 in English or History since I pretty much know everything taught in English anyway, and History is one of my favorite subjects.
A 90 or above in anything else except Math or PE
An 80 or above in Math
And she doesn't really give a damn about PE, but I like it anyway so I usually get between 95 and 100. -
Here's a joke I came up with on what grades stand for.
A-Awesome
B-Better than C
C-Crap
D-Dishonorable
F-F**KALL

Well we're gonna review next week so I guess I'll do fine. And plus it's multiple choice :D but..................... since I don't wanna fall behind I'm gonna give my mom my iPod on Monday and give it back to me on that Friday so I won't be able to get distracted by GTQ or facebook, or texting :P
